Moving the Astroland Rocket

Oh wow.  An icon of Coney Island and nostalgic symbol of enthusiasm for the Space Age, the 14,000 lb Astroland Rocket was moved today…  To Where?  We don’t know yet.

    Hi Sady,
    It’s great that someone captured this moment but too bad they didn’t show it being loaded on its truck. The videos are a nice addition to the blog!

    Robin, I took the video. The rocket was not placed on a truck as of yet, but lowered to the ground.
